I’m migrating from a Samsung Galaxy S4 to a Galaxy 7 Edge. Syncing with the old phone (Android 4.2.2) transfers my Outlook contacts and calendar events to the Android Native Calendar with no issues at all. I do successfully sync with my new phone, but Android 6.0.1 pops up a message “Unfortunately, Calendar storage has stopped”. This message pops up multiple times in a single minute or any time it seems like the calendar refreshes. Interestingly, native Outlook calendar events (like holidays) do not appear in my calendar, just added appointments. Following advice from Android forums, I’ve used Application Manager and attempted to Clear Cache and Storage from the system Calendar Storage application. The events go away but I still get the popup.
One other item I’ve noticed is that on a few of my outlook contacts I have extensive text in the Notes section. On the old phone, all of this information is transferred. On the new phone, it’s truncated.
